In a move that has sent waves of excitement through Adamawa State, Dr. Emmanuel Musa, the revered philanthropist and founder of the transformative Emnamu Foundation, has officially declared his intention to run for governor in the 2027 election.
Speaking exclusively to TGNEWS, Dr. Musa confirmed his candidacy, signaling a new chapter for a state yearning for compassionate and grassroots-driven leadership.
“I receive calls daily from all corners and different parties urging me to run,” Dr. Musa said, his voice resolute. “After comprehensive consultations with stakeholders within and beyond Adamawa, I’ve decided to say yes to the people’s yearning.”
His announcement comes as no surprise to many, yet it carries the weight of a promise fulfilled for residents who have long admired his selfless service.

Confirming the development also, his Chief of Staff, Comrade Kukuya Godwin in a Press statement has further stated the readiness of Dr Emmanuel to throw his hat into the gubernatorial ring with all vigor, vision and ability to win is to work for the overall interest of Adamawa State people.
Dr. Musa, a man whose name is synonymous with life-changing interventions across Adamawa’s streets, emphasized that politics was never his ambition.
“I never had politics in mind before now,” he admitted. “My focus has been empowering and uplifting my people from poverty through grants and facilitating jobs for our youths.”
Yet, the persistent calls from his people, coupled with the encouragement of respected figures, proved impossible to ignore. “I love my people,” he declared.
“I can’t turn down their calls, and with the backing of those I deeply respect, I will fulfill their wish to run in 2027.”
