Applause and Encomium have greeted the emergence of Fugar, Edo State born, Doris Ogah, as the 45th Miss Nigeria.

Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, in his message, extended his warmest congratulations to the newly-crowned 45th Miss Nigeria, Doris Esiokhayamhe Ogah on her outstanding achievement.

“As a proud representative of the South – South Geopolitical Zone and Edo State, Miss Ogah has brought honour and prestige to our great state.”

Governor Monday Okpebholo conveyed his congratulatory message through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Fred Itua, saying that Miss Ogah’s triumph was not only a testament to her beauty, intelligence, and charm but also a reflection of her exceptional talents and passions.

He stated, “As a lawyer and gender advocate, she has demonstrated a deep commitment to promoting the rights and empowerment of women and girls. Her participation in the Miss Nigeria pageant was more than just a beauty contest; it was an opportunity for her to showcase her skills, values, and dedication to making a positive impact in society. ”

During the pageantry, Miss Ogah’s exceptional business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly as she won the business pitch event with an innovative product designed to support women and girls, which was a testament to her creativity, resourcefulness, and passion for driving positive change.

The message signed the acting Spokesperson, Deacon Emma Okhimame, noted that the remarkable achievement was a testament to her dedication, hard work, and the unwavering support of her family and “Fugarians.”

“As the first “Fugarian” to be crowned Miss Nigeria, Queen Esiokhayamhe Doris Ogah, has made her family, Fugar City, and “Fugarians” proud.

“Her achievement will inspire a generation of young girls from Fugar City, who now have a platform to showcase their talents, thanks to the launch of the Miss Fugar pageant in 2023 by the FPU”, he added.

“The executive extends its warmest congratulations to Queen Doris Esiokhayamhe Ogah, HRM Emmanuel Ayekhele Ogah, the Okugbe of Fugar, the Ogah family, and the entire Fugar community.
