As it was anticipated that most protests usually are hijacked by urchins and uninformed, Abuja protest was not different on Thursday August 1.
Despite the intimidating presence of armed security personnel at strategic locations, urchins took over the protest as they roam the streets of Abuja and unleashed terror.
As it was expected, police had to use canisters to tame the unrulying youths shouting “We no go gree”.
In a related development reports fŕom Kano and Niger states were not different as thugs were reported to have resorted to looting of shops.
